Due strumenti per un unico ampli, immagina di dover suonare due strumenti (bassi, chitarre, altro), utilizzando lo stesso ampli, il problema è che non hanno lo stesso segnale in uscita, e quindi ogni volta che devi cambiare strumento, devi spegnere l’ amplificatore, spostare lo strumento e poi regolare il guadagno dell’ampli per avere lo stesso livello su entrambi gli strumenti.La soluzione al problema è il Match Box, che con il suo interruttore SELECT, non solo ti permette di selezionare lo strumento, ma anche regolarne il guadagno, in modo che non devi spegnere l'amplificatore e regolare il gain dell’ampli ogni volta che vuoi cambiare strumento. Inutile dire che il Match Box funziona bene con tutti gli strumenti.

The Carl Martin Match Box solves the issues we face when using two instruments through the same amplifier.  The Match Box is basically an A/B Switch with independent Gain controls for the instrument inputs.  Plug two instruments into the 1 & 2 Inputs, connect the Output to either your pedal board or directly into your amp and adjust the Gain controls on the Match Box so that both instruments provide the same Output Gain to the amp or pedalboard.  This eliminates having to reset Gain levels on the amp when switching guitars, and allows the player to move between instruments quickly and seamlessly during their performance.  The Match Box works equally well for guitar (electric and electric/acoustics) and bass.
